A summer Sunday. The sirocco blows relentlessly over Palermo when Rosa and Clara, on their way to celebrate the wedding of a friend, get lost in the city and end up in a narrow alley: Via Castellana Bandiera. At the same time, another car driven by Samira, in which the Calafiore family is cramped into, takes the same alley in the opposite direction. 
Neither Rosa nor Samira, a stubborn old woman, intends to turn back. 
Locked in their cars, the two women face each other in a silent duel, their eyes full of hatred, without eating or drinking, without sleeping until the next day.
