Synopsis

A 54-year-old man is released from prison in Corrientes, Argentina. He wants to find his grown daughter who lives in an isolated and swampy region. To get there, he will have to travel great distances on a small boat crisscrossing waterways through impenetrable jungle.
Vargas is a silent and restrained man, who possesses the reserve of those who come into close contact with nature. A deep mystery emerges from him, from the places he travels and from the people he meets, emanating from this immutable world which has remained almost intact after his long years of incarceration.
