Synopsis
June 14, 1935. It's autumn, but the heat remains and doesn't seem to want to go away. In an isolated place in the lands of Paraguay, Candida and Ramon, an elderly peasant couple, wait for their son, who has gone to the front in the Chaco War. They also wait for the rain, the wind, for the heat to disappear, for the dog to stop barking. Finally, they wait for better times...
